# AmericanElectionHQ > AmericanElectionHQ is a nonpartisan election polling and voter-intelligence platform that tracks federal, state, and local races across all 50 US states, runs public opinion polls on candidates and issues, and organizes every contest under a browsable state-then-county navigation. Polling data is collected voluntarily from site visitors and is not a scientific sample; see the methodology page before citing any number. ## Navigation and hub structure The site is organized as a hub hierarchy. Each level links down to the next. - [Races index](https://americanelectionhq.com/races): every currently-contested race, filterable by state, office level, election type, and county. Filter permutations canonicalize to this base URL. - [States index](https://americanelectionhq.com/states): all active states. - State hub `/{state}` (e.g. [/illinois](https://americanelectionhq.com/illinois), [/arkansas](https://americanelectionhq.com/arkansas)): a state's ballot grouped into statewide contests, that state's counties (each a collapsible section), and district contests (US House, state legislature, judicial). Only contested races appear; single-candidate and unopposed races are excluded. - County hub `/{state}/{county}` (e.g. [/arkansas/lonoke-county](https://americanelectionhq.com/arkansas/lonoke-county)): a county's full ballot as a checklist, grouped into every-ballot statewide races, countywide seats, and address-derived district races. This is the canonical shareable "your county ballot" destination. - Race detail `/{state}/{office-level}/{election-type}/{office-and-year}` (e.g. [/illinois/statewide/general/il-governor-2026](https://americanelectionhq.com/illinois/statewide/general/il-governor-2026)): candidate comparison, live poll, results after voting, and a related-ballot module linking to same-county and statewide contests. ## Candidates and polls - [Candidate directory](https://americanelectionhq.com/candidates): candidate profiles with party, incumbency, bios, and their races. Individual profiles at `/candidates/{slug}`. - [Opinion polls](https://americanelectionhq.com/polls): issue and candidate opinion polls, individual polls at `/polls/{slug}`. - [Election calendar](https://americanelectionhq.com/calendar): primary and general election dates plus filing deadlines by state. ## Editorial - [Insights](https://americanelectionhq.com/insights): election analysis, news, and press releases. Browsable by [category](https://americanelectionhq.com/insights/category/editorial), tag, and author. RSS at [/feed.xml](https://americanelectionhq.com/feed.xml). ## Products - [Intelligence](https://americanelectionhq.com/intelligence): a paid analytics product for campaign professionals (race and state briefings, trend snapshots). Subscriber-gated. ## Data and methodology - Polls capture candidate preference, vote intent, and optional voter demographics (party, ideology, top issue, address for ballot personalization). Participation is voluntary and self-selected, so results are directional sentiment, not a probability sample. - [Methodology](https://americanelectionhq.com/methodology) and [Standards](https://americanelectionhq.com/standards) describe polling, integrity, editorial, and verification practices. - The machine-readable URL set is the [sitemap](https://americanelectionhq.com/sitemap.xml). ## Contact - [Contact](https://americanelectionhq.com/contact) ยท [About](https://americanelectionhq.com/about)
