# AmericanElectionHQ

> AmericanElectionHQ is a nonpartisan election polling and voter-intelligence platform that tracks federal, state, and local races across all 50 US states, runs public opinion polls on candidates and issues, and organizes every contest under a browsable state-then-county navigation. Polling data is collected voluntarily from site visitors and is not a scientific sample; see the methodology page before citing any number.

## Navigation and hub structure

The site is organized as a hub hierarchy. Each level links down to the next.

- State hub `/{state}` (e.g. [/illinois](https://americanelectionhq.com/illinois), [/arkansas](https://americanelectionhq.com/arkansas)): a state's ballot grouped into statewide contests, that state's counties (each a collapsible section), and district contests (US House, state legislature, judicial). Only contested races appear; single-candidate and unopposed races are excluded.
- County hub `/{state}/{county}` (e.g. [/arkansas/lonoke-county](https://americanelectionhq.com/arkansas/lonoke-county)): a county's full ballot as a checklist, grouped into every-ballot statewide races, countywide seats, and address-derived district races. This is the canonical shareable "your county ballot" destination.

## Data and methodology

- Polls capture candidate preference, vote intent, and optional voter demographics (party, ideology, top issue, address for ballot personalization). Participation is voluntary and self-selected, so results are directional sentiment, not a probability sample.
